«Total Eren» to implement new large investment projects in Uzbekistan

On January 19 this year, Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Laziz Kudratov met with Vice-President of "Total Eren" Antoine Garret. The meeting focused on results of implementation of joint projects and plans on expansion of investment cooperation in the development of renewable energy sources.

In particular, it was noted that in April 2022 in Nurabad district of Samarkand region has been successfully launched photovoltaic plant with capacity of 100 MW as an example of the effectiveness of joint efforts. It was stated that Total Eren intends to expand its activities in Uzbekistan by implementing new large investment projects. In this context, the sides discussed possibilities for construction of new photovoltaic power plants in our country.
