Tour D'or: Uzbekistan named best chess country of 2022

"Uzbekistan is the best chess country of 2022" thanks to the sensational victories of Uzbek chess players in international arenas over the past year.

After an international tournament in the Netherlands, Nodirbek Abdusattorov and Javahir Sindorov won the Tour D'or - The Golden Tower Award, which is given to the best chess country of the year.

Renowned French grandmaster Bashar Quatli presented the Chess Federation of Uzbekistan with the European prize.
