Twitter cuts costs

The New York Times reports that Twitter has stopped paying office rent as it cut costs.

The company has also reportedly suspended rent payments for its San Francisco headquarters in a bid to save money following its acquisition by Ilon Musk. This procedure has also been introduced for offices located in other states.

In addition, Musk has also refused to pay the private carriers used under the previous management. The special severance pay for laid-off employees has also been abolished.
