Twitter deletes more than 1 million accounts every day

Twitter deletes more than 1 million accounts every day. This was reported by "RBK" based on the company's report. The report comes after billionaire Elon Musk threatened to shelve a deal to buy Twitter unless the company can prove that spambots make up less than 5 percent of the social network's total users.

Elon Musk agreed to buy Twitter at the end of April. The deal was valued at $44 billion.

Initially, the billionaire planned to borrow 25.5 billion dollars from banks and pay another 21 billion dollars from his own money.

On May 13, he announced that the deal was suspended due to the need to check the number of fake accounts on the social network.

Elon Musk later said that he would not buy Twitter until the number of bots was less than 5%.
