Two natives of Uzbekistan headed the EBRD offices in Azerbaijan and Tunisia

Kamola Makhmudova appointed as the head of the EBRD office in Baku, Nodira Mansurova - in Tunisia
Two Uzbek citizens have been appointed heads of country offices of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
Kamola Mahmudova headed the EBRD office in Azerbaijan, Nodira Mansurova - in Tunisia, the bank's press service reported.
Kamola Makhmudova previously held the position of Deputy Director, Senior Banker in the EBRD Trade Facilitation Program. “Since 2009, Ms. Makhmudova has been working on a global scale, leading the bank's expansion to the Middle East, North Africa and Cyprus,” the EBRD's press service said. At the same time, it is noted that she played a key role in the political dialogue with the International Chamber of Commerce, the World Trade Organization and the International Monetary Fund on the development of trade finance, regulatory compliance and digitalization of correspondent banking services.
Nodira Mansurova joined the EBRD in 2001 as Regional Manager for the Bank's SME Finance and Development Program in Central Asia. “Ms. Mansurova has a wealth of experience working with small businesses in Tunisia, which are an important segment of the economy, along with a reputation for infrastructure business in the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean,” the EBRD said.
Both Uzbek women also have British citizenship.
