Uzbek-French relations: meeting between Vladimir Norov and Aurelia Bouchez

On November 28, 2022, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to our country Aurelia Bouchez.

During the conversation, topical issues of bilateral relations were discussed, and the priority areas of Uzbek-French multilateral cooperation for 2023 were also touched upon.

The issues of strengthening economic diplomacy occupied an important place in the negotiations. During the visit, it was noted that both sides are interested in the timely and complete implementation of the agreements reached on the implementation of trade, economic, investment and financial cooperation projects totaling more than 6 billion euros.

The importance of intensifying cooperation between the legislative chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Assembly of France, including within the framework of the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, was emphasized.

At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the schedule and agenda of joint events planned for next year.
