Uzbek snipers won the second place in the international competition

Uzbek representatives were awarded with the second place in the international competition called "Most advanced sniper team" held in the Turkish city of Egridir among the military personnel of 12 countries.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

33 teams from 12 countries (Germany, Bahrain, Qatar, Azerbaijan) and 15 teams from Turkey itself participated in the international competition "The Best Sniper Team", representing the country's naval special forces, ground special forces and special operations forces.

"Competitions, including day and night training, were held for 10 days. The difference of this international competition from other shooting competitions is that shooting exercises were carried out in a helicopter and a boat while in motion," the report said.

Moreover, the use of laser rangefinders was not allowed at any stage of the competition, the snipers identified the target at a distance of 1000 meters and more using optical devices and shot it within the specified time. In addition, the participants of the tournament moved for 6 hours in the mountainous area according to the magnetic azimuth at night and shot a target at an uncertain distance.
