Uzbekistan – China: on the way to strengthening trade and economic ties

On March 3 this year, a meeting was held via videoconference between the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BMB Trade Group Bekzod Mamatkulov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the People's Republic of China Farhod Arziev.

During the talks, the parties discussed issues related to the further expansion of Uzbek-Chinese cooperation in investment and trade and economic areas, including the opening of a trading house in China, the export of saffron under the BMB Za’faron brand and other agricultural products to the Chinese market.

At the same time, one of the main and priority goals facing the BMB Trade Group was to establish relations with Chinese entrepreneurs, attract innovative technologies to our country, implement investment projects and bring promising cooperation to a new level.

Following the meeting, the parties reached agreements with the head of the diplomatic corps of Uzbekistan in the People's Republic of China on organizing a visit of representatives of large Chinese companies to Uzbekistan and holding B2B meetings with them.

It should also be noted that the People's Republic of China is one of the largest trade partners with our country, building trade and economic cooperation on a mutually beneficial basis.

At the same time, the Chinese market occupies one of the leading positions in the world market and is undoubtedly one of the most favorable directions for the sale of cultivated products in Uzbekistan, as well as saffron products of the BMB Za'faron brand, which has become world famous.
