Uzbekistan-China: the process of preparing for the 6th meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee was considered

On August 9 of this year, under the leadership of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Minister of investments and foreign trade Jamshid Khodjayev, a meeting was held to discuss the current state of multifaceted cooperation with the people's Republic of China and issues related to its deepening.
The meeting was attended by the heads of ministries and departments, network associations, commercial banks, local authorities, the embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the PRC.
At the meeting, the prospects of developing investment agreements and trade agreements in areas of cooperation in trade, economic, industrial and interregional relations, transport, energy, pharmaceutical, chemical and petrochemical, automotive, mining, metallurgy, sericulture, cotton, Agriculture and Water Management, Health, Science, Education and culture, textile products, leather goods, building materials production and other fields were discussed.
The meeting also considered the process of preparing for the 6th meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee on cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the people's Republic of China, scheduled for August this year. The reports of the heads of 7 sub-commissions, ministries and departments of the Intergovernmental Committee were analyzed in a critical spirit. In the short term, specific instructions were given on the development of investment proposals, documents and agreements, as well as the preparation of specific proposals for expanding cooperation in priority areas.
