Uzbekistan-Egypt: documents signed on the end of negotiations of the highest level

Within the framework of the visit of the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Arab Republic of Egypt, a ceremony of signing documents on the end of negotiations at the highest level was held. The heads of state adopted a joint statement aimed at expanding cooperation in the political, trade and economic, investment, cultural and educational spheres.
A number of bilateral documents were signed under the Presidents. They provide for the development of cooperation between the ministries of foreign affairs of the two countries, the Ministry of investment, industry and trade of Uzbekistan and the Main Directorate for Egyptian investments, in areas such as Plant Quarantine and protection, organization of Public Health Systems, attracting investments and strengthening bilateral investment relations, technical regulation, exchange of experience in development issues.
Also, memorandum of understanding was signed between the Center for Islamic civilization of Uzbekistan, the Institute of Oriental Studies of Uzbekistan named after Abu Rayhon Beruni and the National Library and archive of Egypt.
