Uzbekistan-Germany: Friendly relations serve as a backbone for cooperation

A delegation led by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany Annalena Baerbock held a meeting today, November 1, between Uzbek Foreign Minister Vladimir Norov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany Annalena Berbock to discuss urgent issues on the agenda of the two countries.
The sides discussed the current state and prospects of multilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany.
The sides noted with satisfaction that relations between the two countries have been developing with positive dynamics in trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian realms. Several topics on international and regional agendas have also been discussed during the talks.
Following the meeting, German and Uzbek media representatives were briefed on the developing cooperation between the two countries in various spheres, including economic and political agreements, cooperation in education and ongoing reforms.
Annalena Berbock also said that the bonds of friendship between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Germany serve as an important foundation for cooperation in all spheres.
In addition, the German foreign minister drew special attention to the situation in Afghanistan, the way of life of the population and issues of assistance to them.
