Uzbekistan has purchased new electric trains

On June 30, 2021, in honor of the 30th anniversary of Independence Day, Uzbekistan purchased new «Afrosieb» electric trains from the Spanish port of Bilbao.

At the moment, 2 locomotives with 11 cars purchased from Spain, as well as 4 separate cars, have been transported to the Russian port of St. Petersburg.

It is worth noting that at present, the specialists of «Uzbekistan Temir Yullari» JSC, together with their Russian colleagues, are preparing to send brand-new «Afrosiyob» trains to our country.
