Uzbekistan imports electric vehicles worth $46.4 million in eight months

According to the State Statistics Committee, in January-August 2022, Uzbekistan imported 1,499 units of electric vehicles worth $46.4 million.

Compared to the corresponding period in 2021, imports of electric vehicles this year increased by 1,003 units or tripled.

Uzbekistan imported the most electric vehicles in January-August of this year from the following countries:

China - 1.3 thousand
UAE - 110
Germany - 34
Hong Kong - 30
Other countries - 19
