Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan: Dialogue within international and regional structures

Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov received Beibut Atamkulov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to our country. At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the improvement of the process of implementation of agreements reached at a high level.

It has been noted that Uzbek-Kazakh relations are developing at the current stage along the ascending line of good-neighborliness, strategic partnership and alliance. A particularly trusting and warm dialogue between the leaders of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan has underpinned the swift dynamism of cooperation.

Various aspects of forthcoming activities between the parliaments, ministries and agencies, as well as regions of the two countries have been deliberated on. The sides underscored the importance of building up cooperation in such areas as trade, energy, transport and logistics, agriculture, etc.

It is reported that the sides are ready to continue to cooperate within the framework of international and regional structures. It is noted that there is scope for stepping up cooperation in cultural and humanitarian area that is an important factor in consolidating friendly relations between the two brotherly peoples.
