Uzbekistan plans to CONSTRUCT a plant for the production of plastic PVC road barriers

“Caris” plans to build a plant in Uzbekistan for the production of plastic PVC road barriers on the basis of South Korean technology, “Bright Uzbekistan” reports.
Yesterday in Tashkent, a memorandum was signed between South Korean, Ukrainian and American investors on the establishment of a network of factories producing plastic road barriers in several countries around the world. The cost of the initiative is $ 100 million, of which about $ 20 million will be devoted to build production facilities in Uzbekistan.
“The first advantage of such barriers is their low cost, which means they are cheaper than metal. The second point to consider is security. Such barriers are safer than metal, since a metal fence kills more than it saves lives. The third is brightness. Plastic wings can be made in any color, i.e. they are more conspicuous on the road. It is irreplaceable even in terms of modern urban design” stated Vladimir Stavnyuk, South Korea's representative for the European region.
