Uzbekistan will host the 46th World Chess Olympiad in 2026

On August 8, the next Congress of FIDE was held in Chennai. The delegates approved Uzbekistan's bid to host the 2026 Olympics.

It is noted that the Olympics will be held in Tashkent or Samarkand.

For information, it should be noted that in 2024 the World Chess Olympiad will be held in Budapest, Hungary.
