Uzbekistan will host the Youth Tourism Week

Since 2023 Youth Tourism Week will be held in the first decade of January.

The aim of the week is to organize excursion trips for young people to places of interest in the country on the basis of seasonal travel packages on holidays, organize trips for students of higher educational institutions, schoolchildren and youth from mahallas, implement necessary organizational and practical measures on movement of pupils, students and youth with disabilities around the country.

Also during the week will be collective youth visits to cultural heritage sites, museums, theatres and cinemas, theatrical screenings showing our history live, a "Youth Tourist Caravan" project in all regions, the "Island Tourism" week in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, and the organization of high-level reading days. On the basis of the programme, meetings will be organized with young people who have achieved high results, and "master classes" will be held with the participation of leading figures of science.

It is worth noting that as part of the "Travel Uzbekistan! programme, the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage has offered discounts on visits to cultural heritage sites and museums.

In addition, during the Week, Uzbekistan Temir Yullari and Uzbekistan Airways will offer discounts on intercity bus, air and rail travel as well as voluntary discounts on transportation services provided by business entities.

P.S. "Week of Youth Tourism" will be held in accordance with the Presidential Decree of 30 April 2022 "On additional measures to diversify domestic tourism services". The event is organised by the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage in cooperation with the Youth Affairs Agency, the Ministry of Mahalla and Elders support and the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialised Education.
