Uzbekistan's foreign minister receives Azerbaijani ambassador

On January 3, 2023, acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received Azerbaijani Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to our country Gusein Guliyev.

During the meeting, it has been noted with deep satisfaction that owing to regular and fruitful dialogue at the highest level, Uzbek-Azerbaijani relations have been developing dynamically in all areas of strategic partnership and multidimensional cooperation.

The sides considered the schedule of scheduled activities, including the regular session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, as well as the next round of political consultations through the ministries of foreign affairs of the two countries.

Joint measures to expand trade, economic and investment cooperation, implementation of joint projects in the automotive, petrochemical, energy and agricultural sectors have been emphasized.
