Uzbekistan's youth wrestling team was pulled out of the earthquake zone

National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan reports that Uzbekistan's youth wrestling team, which took part in international competitions in the Turkish city of Kahramanmarash, arrived in Ankara. The work carried out with the assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Turkiye was a success.

All our compatriots are now doing well and are safe. According to the plan, they will first go to Istanbul and from there back to Tashkent.

As reported earlier, the day before the General Secretary of the Wrestling Association of Uzbekistan Shukhrat Mamadaliev went to Istanbul to bring the national delegation back home. He will lead the process of returning our athletes and coaches to Tashkent.
