On July 5, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The leaders discussed the implementation of the agreements reached at the second meeting of the Strategic Partnership Council in March this year in Tashkent.
The president of Turkiye supported the efforts of the head of our state to ensure peace, stability and sustainable development in the Republic of Karakalpakstan in every possible way.
Issues of expansion of multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and Turkiye, primarily in the trade-economic, investment, transport-communication and cultural-humanitarian spheres, were considered.
