Visa for entry to Uzbekistan for Saudis is canceled

The cancellation of the visa will help strengthen the interaction of Saudi and Uzbekistan in such areas as the economy, tourism.

This was announced on September 6 at a briefing with Saudi ambassador Yusuf Al-Utaibi in Tashkent on the visit of Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Saudi Arabia.

According to Saudi ambassador Yusuf al-Utaibi, this will provide Saudi travelers with the opportunity to come to Uzbekistan with family members and get acquainted with its historical, Islamic and cultural monuments.

"Since January 2023, the entry visa to Uzbekistan for Saudis will be canceled. The Ministry of Tourism of Saudi Arabia has also prepared a list for visa cancellation for dozens of countries. It is regularly updated. We hope that Uzbekistan will also be included in the list soon,” said the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Uzbekistan.

It is noted that in order to carry out regular flights to Jeddah and Tashkent, flights are also being launched by Saudi Arabia twice a week.

Earlier it was reported that a 30-day visa-free regime was introduced in Uzbekistan for citizens of Saudi Arabia.
