Vladimir Putin will pay a visit to Uzbekistan

Russian President Vladimir Putin will attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit and the CIS Council of Heads of State in the fall.

Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov told reporters on Tuesday, TASS reports.

“Many events are planned for the fall. In addition to our Eastern Economic Forum, the SCO summit to be held in Samarkand in September. Then, on October 14, Nur-Sultan will host the CIS Council of Heads of State,” he said.

It will be recalled that in February 2021, the President signed a decree on measures to prepare for the 2022 Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit in Samarkand.
