Westminster International University in Tashkent takes top place in Bloomberg Global Trading Challenge 2021

Westminster International University in Tashkent, a team of five students of the 6th Finance Level, took 14th place in the Bloomberg Global Trading Challenge 2021.

It is noted that this team competed with 495 university teams from around the world. They ranked 14th in the world and 4th in Asia.

Universities from the United States, India, China and Saudi Arabia also took part in the competition. Uzbekistan is also the only CIS country in the top 100.

In terms of numbers, the university team has invested a total of $ 1 million and made a profit of $ 213,000.

Rector of Westminster International University in Tashkent Bahrom Mirkasimov sincerely congratulated the team members on behalf of professors and students and wished them great success.

For information, the Bloomberg Global Trading Challenge is the only university trade competition held on the full Bloomberg Terminal platform.

It should be noted that the students of Westminster International Universitгy won the internationally recognized financial competition "CFA Investment Challenge in Central Asia".
