WHO: The situation in Europe is getting complicated

The population of Europe suffers the most from the monkeypox virus. So far, the number of patients registered there is about 90% of the total confirmed worldwide. In particular, this dangerous infection was recorded in 31 countries of the continent.

The representative of the WHO said that until now there have been no deaths from monkeypox in Europe. But this is not a reason for complacency.

Because this disease, manifested by symptoms such as rash, fever, fatigue, headache, sore throat and muscle pain, diarrhea, is spreading to different countries every day.

In addition, the number of cases of coronavirus infection in Europe has increased by 3 times in the next month.

Currently, about 500,000 people are diagnosed with COVID-19 in 53 countries of the continent. At the same time, the death rate has also approached the level of the summer season of 2020: almost 500 people die from the coronavirus per day.

Today, the WHO has decided that the population should be vaccinated in time, in full, and wear a mask in public places.
