Work on socio-economic development of Tashkent region was analyzed

On October 12 this year in the building of Tashkent region Hokimiyat (Nurafshan city) under the direction of Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khojaev held meeting dedicated to analysis of current state of economic and social development, investment and export activity of the region.

Hokims of cities and districts of Tashkent region and their deputies on issues of investments and foreign trade took part in the meeting.

It was discussed the implementation of regional investment programs and the current state of large industrial projects commissioned this year. In particular, it was noted about the stable tendency to reach the full capacity of the project on production of lyophiles and syringes by Zuma Pharma LLC in Parkent district, where about 300 new jobs were created, as well as the project on production of thermal insulation materials by Angren Insulation LLC in Angren city, where more than 200 new jobs were created and large factory on textile and knitted products by Dynamic textile LLC in Yangiyul district, where 300 specialists are working. The leaders of the branch associations and local authorities submitted detailed reports on timely and quality implementation of 500 projects and creation of 17,6 thousand new jobs by the end of this year.

The sides discussed separately measures taken to increase the exports up to $1 billion, 32% more than last year, as well as to ensure the absorption of foreign direct investments and loans amounting to $416 million.

Based on the results of the meeting, the responsible managers were given additional targeted instructions for quality and timely implementation of the set tasks.
