Yandex taxi speed is controlled in Uzbekistan

In Uzbekistan, the Yandex Go service launched the technology of automatic monitoring of the speed of motor vehicles at the time of ordering. It is noted that monitoring is carried out in all serviced areas (Tashkent, Fergana, Margilon, Namangan, Andijan and Samarkand).

During order fulfillment, new technology uses GPS to track the driver's direction and speed. This speed is compared with the maximum speed allowed in the section on the navigator used for routing the routes.

If the driver exceeds the set speed, the system will warn the driver about it through his application. The technology takes into account and may not take into account possible interference with the signal, including unexpected changes in coordinates. After several warnings, the algorithm temporarily restricts the driver's access to service orders.
