President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the national boxing team of Uzbekistan on a worthy performance and victory at the Asian Boxing Championship, held on May 24-31, 2021 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

It should be noted that women's sports, including women's boxing, are also consistently developing in our country. It is gratifying that our brave girls, worthy successors of the fearless and brave heroines Tumaris and Barchinoy, also actively participated in the Asian championship, which became a victory for you. They won 1 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze medals,  the President said.
