Youth is our country's greatest asset - President

In his Address to the Nation, the Head of State spoke about the need to teach foreign languages and professions to schoolchildren. A meeting was held on January 20 to identify tasks in this direction. It was decided that based on the peculiarities of districts and mahallas, 64 types of working professions will be taught in schools.
This model has begun to be put into practice on the ground. In particular, appropriate conditions have been created in general education school No. 55 of Andijan district after reconstruction. The empty basement of the school was allocated to entrepreneurs, who set up workshops there and began training young people in trade.
The President visited these workshops.
The high school students learn sewing, furniture making, confectionary, shoe making, basket weaving, and sewing of bedding. There is also a car repair shop, a welding shop, a printing shop, a computer shop and a hairdressing salon on the premises of the school. The Head of State talked to the young people who are acquiring a profession.
"If you pay attention, those who graduate without a trade in their hands, it is harder to establish a life and find a job. For someone who knows both a trade and a foreign language, all roads are open. You have this opportunity. Work hard, study hard and learn a profession. When decisions and efforts pay off? When there are great professionals. Investors also focus on the knowledge and skills of the staff. The most important wealth of our country is the youth", Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
