«Zarafshan» National Nature Park in the city of Samarkand was transferred to the Ecocommittee

According to the decision made on August 10, 2022, Zarafshan National Nature Park in Samarkand city was transferred to the State Committee of Forestry due to the threat of environmental degradation.

The commission was assigned a number of tasks to eliminate the fatal problems of "Zarafshon": developing, approving and state registration of the Regulation on the nature park within three months; redefining the boundaries of the park; strengthening environmental control in the parking lot; Together with the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, organizing observation of natural objects in the park, etc.
