Electricity consumption in Uzbekistan has increased to the maximum

The average daily electricity consumption in Uzbekistan reached 237 million kWh on July 22, the press service of the Ministry of Energy reported.

It is noted that in the autumn-winter season of 2021/2022, the maximum daily consumption in Tashkent was 24 million kWh, and on July 22 of this year, this figure was 27.5 million kWh, that is, an increase of 15%.

The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the health of the entire power supply system and the prevention of its overload, which can lead to large-scale emergency situations, have a frugal attitude to the consumption of electricity during these hot days.
