Apple accelerates the process of exiting China-Media
Apple has tripled prices for iPhone production in India amid growing tensions between the US and China. This is reported by Bloomberg with reference to sources.
“Apple, which is leaving China, collected $7 billion worth of iPhones in India last year,” the report says.
The American company currently manufactures almost 7% of its iPhones in India. This is a significant jump from 1% to 7% than in 2021, for India.
According to analysts of the publication, the company is looking for ways to reduce dependence on China. The opening of two Apple malls in India next week is also a prime example of this.
