The electoral process at 207 polling stations will be broadcast online

The video will be broadcast in the CEC Press Center, as well as online on the saylov2021.uz portal, Uzbekiston 24 and other NTRK TV channels.

On October 13, 2021, a regular meeting of the Central Election Commission took place.

The agenda included the issues of determining additional measures for video broadcasting of the electoral process at some polling stations, the introduction of digital technologies into the electoral process, the work done to improve the information system for managing the electoral process, accreditation of observers from international organizations and foreign countries at the elections of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and also representatives of the media.

The use of modern information technologies in the electoral process ensures openness and transparency, as well as creates convenience for voters. Therefore, a number of countries use modern information technologies in the electoral process.
It was noted that on election day, an online video of the electoral process will be broadcast at 207 polling stations across the country. The video will be broadcast on a big screen in the Press Center of the Central Election Commission, as well as online on the saylov2021.uz portal, Uzbekiston 24 and other TV channels of the National TV and Radio Company of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, information from responsible persons was heard on the work done to introduce digital technologies into the electoral process, to improve the information system for managing the electoral process.
To date, 557 observers from foreign countries and international organizations have been accredited at the elections of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The members of the Commission also considered the issue of accreditation of media representatives.
Currently, 1419 representatives of local media and 146 representatives of foreign media are accredited.
