UN partners visited the Margilan silk-breeding cluster

The annual export capacity of the enterprise is USD 3 million.

On October 9, the General Coordinator of the "Fashion Ethics Initiative" project of the UN International Trade Center Kloe Mukai and the consultant of the Central Asia project Paula Koles visited the Nurli Tong Silk Silk Cluster in the city of Margilan, Fergana region.

The goal of the project is to globally promote the ideas of domestic producers, artisans and talented designers working in the field of silkworm breeding.

For reference: the number of permanent employees at the enterprise is 100 people. 12 thousand local residents will be employed during the season.
