Abdulaziz Kamilov in Nur-Sultan met with his Indian counterpart Subramanyam Jaishankar

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov is taking part in the sixth meeting of the foreign ministers of the countries participating in the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA).

As part of the meeting, Kamilov held talks with Indian Foreign Minister Subramanyam Jaishankar.

During the conversation, the Indian side highly appreciated the current level of interstate cooperation.

They discussed the prospects for trade and economic cooperation in various fields, expanding the dialogue of the parties in international organizations.

A thorough exchange of views took place on the current situation in Afghanistan, including on the provision of humanitarian assistance to the country.

The Indian side expressed its readiness to continue to actively cooperate with Uzbekistan in the matter of an early long-term and sustainable peace in Afghanistan.
