The Turkic Council held an international conference dedicated to the work of Mahmud Kashgari

On September 29-30 this year in Istanbul, together with the Turkik Council, the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and the universities of Istanbul and Marmara, an international conference was organized in a hybrid format on the topic “Scientific heritage of Mahmud Kashgari and his role in the development of Turkic studies of the third millennium”.

It was attended by 30 speakers and over 40 experts representing 16 universities and organizations from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Iran, Russia, Ukraine and the United States.

A wide study of the works of our ancestors, such as "Devon is lugged by Türk", will serve as an important factor not only for understanding and international recognition of our rich history and culture, but also for further rapprochement of the Turkic states and further strengthening the fraternal relations of the peoples of the Turkic world.

At the conference, the discussion centered on the work of Mahmoud Kashgari “Devonu lugotit turk”.

It was noted that such events will serve as an important factor on the way to understanding and world recognition of the rich history and culture of the Turkic-speaking states, further strengthening fraternal relations between the Turkic peoples.
