State Statistics Committee - Uzbekistan imported 15 thousand cars in 8 months
For eight months of 2021, Uzbekistan imported about 15 thousand passenger cars for $ 316.6 million.
Compared to the same period last year, 4350 fewer cars were imported from abroad (-22.5%), the press service of the State Statistics Committee reports.
China has become the main supplier of cars to the republic. Almost a third of the total volume was brought from China - 4.65 thousand. The second and third places are occupied by South Korea (3.6 thousand) and Russia (2.95 thousand). This is followed by Kazakhstan (1.74 thousand), Poland (811), Lithuania (427), USA (331), Thailand (250), Germany (81), Japan (64) and Turkey (25).
