Samarkand will receive a loan of $ 30 million for tourism development

The loan is issued for a period of 5 years at a rate of 3% per annum.

According to the presidential decree of September 22, 2021 No. PP-5249, the Fund for Reconstruction and Development provides the Fund for Improvement and Welfare of the Samarkand Region with a loan of $ 30 million. It is issued for a period of 5 years, including a grace period of 2 years, at a rate of 3% per annum.

The executive body responsible for the targeted and effective use of the loan is the khokimiyat of the Samarkand region. The costs associated with the repayment and servicing of the loan will be covered by additional sources of the local budget of the Samarkand region, as well as other sources not prohibited by legislative acts.

The khokim of the Samarkand region was instructed to approve the address lists of projects financed by the Fund, in agreement with the Cabinet of Ministers, within a month.
