The World Bank will allocate a loan of 380 million dollars to Uzbekistan

The Board of Executive Directors of the World Bank approved the project "transformation of the electric power sector and sustainable electricity transmission".

In order to implement this large-scale investment project for the modernization of main substations and digitalization of the project system, it was decided to allocate a loan of $ 380 million to Uzbekistan.

The new transformational project supports the government's goal of removing obstacles to the efficient operation and growth of the electric power sector.
