2022 has been declared the hottest year on record

The year 2022 was full of extreme climate events, abnormal temperatures and high concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, according to experts from the Copernicus climate service. Last year's summer was recorded as the hottest since the history of observations in Europe, and autumn was also warmer than usual.
According to the report, the average annual temperature was 0.3 degrees Celsius higher than from 1991 to 2020, and compared to 1850-1900 the difference was 1.2 degrees.
