30 universities of Uzbekistan are included in THE Impact Ranking 2022

This year, Tashkent Agrarian University has the highest result among the universities of the country.

The British edition of the Times Higher Education has announced the results of the Times Higher Education Impact Ranking for 2022.

For the first time, 30 higher education institutions of Uzbekistan were included in the ranking, according to the Ministry of Higher Education.

Tashkent Agrarian University has the highest result among the higher educational institutions of the republic (801st place). Tashkent State Law University (the leader of the rating at the end of last year) and the Tashkent Medical Academy are also included in the top three among Uzbek universities.

Background: Last year's ranking included 10 higher education institutions in the country. At that time, the list included about a thousand universities from 94 countries, but this year more than 1,500 universities from 110 countries were included in the ranking.

Western Sydney University (Australia), Arizona State University (Tempe) (USA) and Western University (Canada) were named as the best world universities in the ranking this year.
