60 emergency personnel and 3 special rescue vehicles are being sent to Turkiye

"Based on the order of the head of state, 60 rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and 3 special rescue vehicles are being sent to the brotherly state of Turkey to provide humanitarian assistance and eliminate the consequences of the earthquake," the Ministry of Emergency Situations said in a statement.
According to the latest data, more than 1,200 people died as a result of the strong earthquake that hit southeastern Turkiye and northern Syria.
The number of victims of the natural disaster in Turkiye was 912 and 5,385 people were injured. At least 1,710 buildings were destroyed or damaged in different cities in Turkiye, Fuat Oktay said. The Syrian government said at least 320 people died and more than 600 civilians were injured.
