700 million soums will be allocated for the repair of the irrigation and drainage system of the city of Tashkent. This is stated in the decree of the acting mayor of the city Shavkat Umurzakov, signed on April 7.

”In order to prevent situations such as flooding of the city of Tashkent during the rainy season, allocate funds in the amount of 700 million soums for expenses related to the repair of drainage and collectors (irrigation system) and laying concrete pipes," the document says.

It is noted that these funds will be allocated from the reserve fund of the capital's budget.
