7.4 % growth in GDP last year

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is chairing a video conference on the priorities for this year to establish a new system of “Makhallabay” work and employment.

The head of state noted that previous year the gross domestic product rose by 7.4% as a result of active reforms, development of entrepreneurship and the launch of “Makhallabay” work.

100,000 new entrepreneurs have started working in the regions. The number of self-employed increased by 700,000 to 1.2 million.

Through the “Makhallabay” system, 583,000 needy families in the Iron Notebook were provided with a steady income.

"We have declared 2022 the Year of Human Dignity and Active Neighborhood. Therefore, this year should be a year of radical change in all makhallas," noted the President.
