A cashback system will be introduced for citizens traveling around Uzbekistan

From September 1, Uzbekistan will introduce a cashback system for citizens traveling around the country. This was announced at a meeting chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the further development of the tourism industry.

From September 1, citizens traveling around the country:

15% of the cost of air, rail and bus tickets (up to 200,000 soums for air transport, up to 100,000 soums for rail and bus);

20% of hotel expenses (for one night - up to 80 thousand soums);

A system of refunding 50% of the ticket price (for one object - up to 20 thousand soums) to museums and other cultural facilities will be introduced.

The meeting also noted the need to organize additional air, rail and bus services to create conditions for active travel of the population on holidays and festivals. Up to 50% discount on tickets.
