A feature film about the 1966 Tashkent earthquake will be shot

Within the framework of the business program of the XIV Tashkent International Film Festival, an agreement was reached on this issue within the framework of the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the cinematographic Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian film studio Mars Media.

Director General of the cinematography agency Firdavs Abdukholikov noted that such a large-scale expansion of cooperation in the field of cinema was carried out by the head of state due to the policy pursued by the head of our state, the attention paid to the field of cinematography.

P.S. The XIV Tashkent International Film Festival "Pearl of the Silk Road" will be held from September 13 to 18 this year. It is attended by over 500 film artists from 40 countries, including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan. As part of the film festival, 150 feature films, documentaries and short films will be shown.
