A meeting of the EBRD Board of Governors was held

On July 1, the Annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) was held in the format of a videoconference, which was attended by Sardor Umurzakov.
At the meeting, the key areas of the bank's activities for the near future were listed. In particular, the President of the EBRD called the mitigation of economic consequences, the expansion of financing for small and medium-sized businesses, "green" investments and the digitalization of the economies of the shareholder countries the main directions of the bank's activities for the near future.
During the speech of Sardor Umurzakov, it was noted that since the beginning of cooperation with Uzbekistan, the EBRD has invested a total of more than 2.4 billion euros in the country's economy for the implementation of 97 projects.
Following the meeting, it was announced that the next meeting of the EBRD Board of Governors will be held in Morocco in 2022.
