A meeting of the heads of government of Uzbekistan and Russia was held in Moscow

On June 22 of this year, a meeting of the heads of government of Uzbekistan and Russia was held in Moscow, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan reports.

According to the Heads of Government, the growth of mutual trade has been ensured since the beginning of the year. This year, the trade turnover increased by 15% compared to the same period last year.

Investment projects of the two countries were discussed at the event. Investments of Russian companies and banks are directed to the most promising sectors of Uzbekistan - the oil and gas sector, mining, energy, agriculture, engineering and other areas.

As a result of the meeting, more than 10 documents were signed aimed at further development of cooperation.

It is worth pointing out that cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia is steadily developing, especially in such sectors as trade and economic, investment, transport, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
