A meeting was held between the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov and the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis(The government of the Repiblic of Uzbekistan) Tanzila Narbaeva

The President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov met with the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbaeva as part of the state visit of the head of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan on March 12, 2021, the press service of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis reports.
During the talks, the parties discussed issues of interaction between the two states, including at the parliamentary level.
It was noted that close contacts between parliamentarians are expected to play an essential role as a kind of boost in enhancing cooperation in many areas, comprising the development of interregional ties.

The parties expressed interest in intensifying contacts between parliamentarians of the two countries at all levels of interaction and continuing the practice of exchanging visits by the heads of the parliaments of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
