A memorandum of cooperation was signed between Yashnabad and Pardis Technoparks

The Minister of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ibrahim Abdurahmanov, who is on a working visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, got acquainted with the Pardis Technopark (Technology City) around Tehran.

Pardis Technopark was established in 2022 and covers an area of ​​110 hectares. The park aims to use the latest technology in the world to create new technologies, commercialize developments created by research centers, support businesses that produce innovative products, and develop high-tech industries.

During the visit, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Yashnabad Innovative Technopark under the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Pardis Technopark of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Under the signed memorandum, there will be an opportunity to transfer equipment and technology produced by Pardis Technopark.

The Business Incubator project will also be implemented between the incubation centers operating in the Pardis Technopark and the Yashnabad Innovative Technopark. As a result of the project, our young people are expected to learn about innovative entrepreneurship, which will help to develop startup projects in Uzbekistan.

Between Pardis Technopark and Yashnabad Innovative Technopark, a total of $ 2 million has been signed to meet the needs of local businesses. It was agreed to hold a competition for joint startup projects in the amount of USD 1 billion and to expand the production of new products on the basis of successful startups.
