A plan for the development of the Andijan region has been drawn up

A working group headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan S. Umurzakov and consisting of heads of ministries, departments, industry associations and commercial banks went to the Andijan region to implement projects for the development of the region.

To achieve these goals, 8 working subgroups were created in the region in separate areas:

- investment activity;

- industrial development;

- increase in exports;

- import optimization;

- strengthening of cooperation ties;

- support for the integrated development of mahallas;

- promotion of youth entrepreneurship;

- increasing youth employment.

The investment program of the Andijan region for 2021-2022 was also analyzed, during which 553 projects worth 19.2 trillion soums are being implemented in the region, which will create about 58.6 thousand new jobs.
